Chapter 4: The Secrets of the Void

5 min read

The crew stood in silence atop the floating island cloaked in blue mist.

They were still catching their breath after escaping the destruction of Mary Geoise.

The Admin-Only Zone floated far above the broken world below.

Unlike the world they had left behind, this place remained strangely untouched.

There were no collapsing islands.

No raging oceans.

No burning skies.

Just silence.

Gojo leaned against a floating rock, his arms crossed.

His blindfold fluttered slightly in the wind.

"I've never seen someone use a weapon like that," he said. "Not even the strongest beings I've encountered would casually create something as reckless as the Mother Flame."

Luffy looked toward the three figures standing ahead of them.

Uzoth stood silently, gripping the legendary Triple Dark Blade.

Ripindra floated upside down, casually eating a watermelon while strange Meme Fruit energy crackled around him.

Zioles stood between them, his body constantly flickering between different forms.

Light.

Ice.

Shadow.

Fire.

And countless other powers.

Luffy stepped forward.

His Gear 5 form had faded, but his expression remained serious.

"Why is Imu doing this?"

Uzoth looked toward the broken world below.

"Because he believes the world has become too powerful."

Everyone listened.

"Too many awakenings. Too many powerful fruits. Too many people capable of challenging him."

Uzoth tightened his grip on the Triple Dark Blade.

"Imu believes the only way to restore control is to reset everything."

Ripindra suddenly flipped upright.

"Basically, he's scared."

Mahan frowned.

"Scared?"

Ripindra nodded.

"Very scared."

He pointed toward the ruined world.

"He's not just creating weapons anymore. He's building something completely new."

Thaman stepped forward.

"The New World?"

Zioles nodded.

"A world where Imu decides who has power, who loses it, and what parts of history are allowed to survive."

Oden's eyes narrowed.

"Then this isn't simply destruction."

Zioles looked at him.

"Exactly."

Oden stepped closer.

"He's trying to erase the old world and replace its history with his own."

Uzoth nodded.

"And that's where the Void comes in."

Law crossed his arms.

"Explain."

Uzoth looked toward the crew.

"Imu's power comes from ancient fragments connected to something called the Original Update."

Oden immediately became interested.

"Original Update?"

Uzoth nodded.

"Ancient relics were hidden across the old world. They were scattered so that no single person could ever gather them."

Zioles continued.

"Imu found them."

The crew went silent.

"He absorbed their power and connected them to something much more dangerous."

Dhruv stepped forward.

"The Glitch Core."

Ripindra stopped eating for a moment.

"Yep."

He pointed upward.

"That thing is basically the heart of the system Imu is controlling."

Harshil frowned.

"So if we destroy the Glitch Core…"

Zioles shook his head.

"We don't know if it can be destroyed."

He looked toward the distant sky.

"But we may be able to disrupt its connection to Imu."

Nihal looked at him.

"How?"

Zioles raised one hand.

"Three things."

He held up one finger.

"First, we need to strike Imu during one of the moments when his power becomes unstable."

A second finger.

"Second, we need the combined resonance of awakened fruit users."

A third finger.

"And finally…"

His expression became serious.

"We need a weapon capable of cutting through the connection itself."

Zoro immediately looked at his swords.

"What weapon?"

Uzoth answered.

"The Eclipse Blade."

The name seemed to echo through the floating island.

Oden's eyes widened slightly.

"The Voidsmith weapon."

Uzoth looked at him.

"You've heard of it?"

Oden nodded.

"Only through fragments of ancient records."

He stepped forward.

"The Voidsmiths were mentioned in several forbidden texts. They created weapons designed to interact with powers that normal weapons couldn't touch."

Zoro's eyes narrowed.

"So this Eclipse Blade can cut the Glitch Core's connection."

"If the legends are correct," Uzoth replied.

Mahan clenched his fist.

"Then we find it."

Thaman nodded.

"Before Imu can launch another attack."

Dhruv looked toward the ruined world.

"But where is it?"

Zioles answered immediately.

"Lost."

Everyone stared at him.

"The Eclipse Blade disappeared long ago."

"Its location was hidden somewhere within the broken world."

Oden looked toward the distant ruins.

"Then we'll have to search for it."

Law shook his head.

"The world below is already collapsing."

Sriyansh stepped forward.

"Then we'll have to move quickly."

His hand glowed with cold energy.

"Ice can stabilize some of the unstable terrain."

Harshil smiled.

"And sound can help us detect things buried beneath it."

Charvik's nine tails appeared behind him.

"Illusions can help us get through traps."

Sudheepkar cracked his knuckles.

"And if something tries to stop us…"

He grinned.

"It'll regret it."

Mokshith let out a low laugh.

"Finally, something simple."

Ace looked toward Luffy.

"What about me?"

Luffy looked at him.

"You're coming with us."

Ace smiled.

"Good."

Nearby, Kizaru remained silent.

He stood slightly away from the others, looking toward the ruined world.

Tanish noticed him.

"You haven't said much."

Kizaru slowly turned his head.

"There's nothing to say."

Tanish watched him for a moment.

Kizaru looked back toward the horizon.

His expression revealed nothing.

Oden turned toward the others.

"Then it's decided."

He drew one of his swords.

"We find the Eclipse Blade."

Uzoth stepped forward.

"And when you find it, we'll help you prepare for the final confrontation."

Ripindra grinned.

"Think of it as the greatest side quest ever."

He paused.

"Except this time, the entire world is the reward."

Gojo laughed.

"And I'll keep those Third Sea bosses busy if they come after you again."

Law raised his hand.

"Then we have a plan."

Luffy stepped forward.

His eyes burned with determination.

"We're taking our world back."

The blue mist around the Admin-Only Zone began to glow.

Far below, the broken world remained covered in darkness.

But somewhere among its ruined islands, hidden beneath the remains of the old era, the Eclipse Blade waited.

And the crew's next journey was about to begin.

They had survived the fall of the world.

Now they had to uncover the secrets of the Void.
