Tradely is a free trading-tools site for Roblox games, run by Grandfield Media. This page says exactly what we hold about you. It is short because we hold very little.
Value lists, the calculator, trade ads and giveaways are all readable without signing in or giving us anything at all.
Signing in means typing a Roblox username, seeing that account's picture, and confirming it is yours. If you do, we store the public information Roblox gives us for that account: the user id, the username, the display name, and the URL of the avatar picture. We also keep the date you first signed in and when we last saw you.
We never ask for and never receive your Roblox password. We cannot act on your Roblox account, and we cannot see anything on it that is not already public.
Confirming an avatar is a claim, not proof. We say so on the sign-in itself.
Your trade ads and the messages you send through Tradely are stored so the other person can read them. Anyone can see your ads and your username. Messages are between you and the person you are talking to — but treat them as recorded, not private: we keep them so that a dispute over a trade can be looked into.
If you ask us to tell you when someone replies to your trade ad, your browser gives us a subscription — a long random address that only your browser can receive on. It contains no email, no name and no device identifier we chose, and it cannot be used to work out who you are or where you are.
We send only who replied and which ad. We never put the message text in a notification, so nothing a stranger types can appear on your screen without you opening Tradely first.
Turn it off any time in your browser's site settings for tradely.cc, and the subscription stops working immediately. We delete it automatically the first time a send fails.
We set one cookie to remember you are signed in, and one for the admin login. That is all we set ourselves. We do not use cookies to follow you around other websites.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people actually use — which value lists get read, which items get looked up, where people arrive from. It tells us what to work on next. It sets its own cookies and records the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you are on.
We do not send Google your name, your Roblox username, or anything else that identifies you personally, and we do not use Analytics to follow individual people around. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site that uses it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Tradely is paid for by advertising, which we intend to serve through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads, and in some cases to personalise them based on your previous visits to this and other sites. This is Google's processing, not ours — we never receive your browsing history.
You can turn personalised advertising off at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices. More on how Google uses data from sites that use its services is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Our server records ordinary request information, including IP addresses, so we can keep the site up and stop abuse — for example, rate-limiting repeated failed admin logins. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you.
Many Roblox players are young. We deliberately collect as little as possible and we do not ask for a real name, an address, a phone number, a date of birth or a photograph, and you should never put any of those in a message or a trade ad. If you believe a child has given us something they should not have, email us and we will delete it.
Nobody buys it, because we do not sell it. The only outside parties involved are our advertising provider, described above, and Roblox's own public API, which we ask for the picture and display name attached to a username. Our servers are in the European Union.
Email hello@tradely.cc from the account you want removed, or tell us the Roblox username, and we will delete the account, its ads and its messages. You do not have to give a reason.
If this policy changes we will change the date at the top. If it changes in a way that matters, we will say so on the site.
