The crew had barely returned to the Admin-Only Zone when something felt wrong.
The Eclipse Blade rested in the center of the chamber.
Its black metal no longer looked as powerful as before.
Cracks ran along its surface.
Faint golden energy leaked from the damaged blade.
Uzoth stood over it, his expression unusually serious.
"The Eclipse Blade was forged to sever Imu's connection to the Glitch Core."
He looked at the cracks.
"If it remains damaged, our chances of breaking that connection become much smaller."
Ripindra's usual grin had disappeared.
"We just spent all that time finding the thing."
He pointed at the blade.
"And now it's already broken?"
Zioles moved closer.
His body flickered between different forms as he examined the weapon.
"This wasn't caused by normal damage."
Law stepped forward.
"What do you mean?"
Zioles placed his hand near the blade without touching it.
"Something disrupted its energy from the inside."
Oden's eyes narrowed.
"Then someone may have interfered with it before we even found it."
The room became silent.
Luffy looked around.
"Someone here?"
Nobody answered.
Then Kizaru stepped forward.
He had remained unusually quiet since the crew returned.
His golden eyes reflected the damaged blade.
"Yes."
Everyone turned toward him.
Kizaru slowly looked up.
His expression was no longer relaxed.
"Someone here."
Tanish immediately became suspicious.
"What are you talking about?"
Kizaru looked toward the Eclipse Blade.
"I can no longer hide the truth."
The room fell silent.
"I've been following orders."
Thaman's flames flickered around his fists.
"Whose orders?"
Kizaru looked directly at Luffy.
"Imu's."
Nobody moved.
Even Ripindra stopped joking.
Kizaru continued.
"I was part of Imu's inner circle long before I joined you."
Akshith stepped forward.
"So you've been playing us this entire time?"
Kizaru nodded.
"Yes."
Luffy's expression hardened.
"Then why didn't you attack us before?"
Kizaru's eyes shifted toward him.
"Because I was ordered to watch."
The crew suddenly remembered the battle at Mary Geoise.
Kizaru standing apart.
Kizaru refusing to help.
Kizaru watching everything.
Tanish clenched his fists.
"You were there the entire time."
Kizaru gave a faint smile.
"I told you."
He looked back toward the blade.
"I was watching."
Oden stepped forward.
"And your mission?"
Kizaru answered calmly.
"Prevent the Eclipse Blade from becoming whole."
Thaman's flames grew brighter.
"Why?"
Kizaru's expression darkened.
"Because if the blade is completed, it can sever Imu's connection to the Glitch Core."
Law's eyes narrowed.
"So you were waiting until we found it."
"Exactly."
Kizaru raised one hand.
Light began gathering around his fingers.
"And now my orders are complete."
A beam of light exploded across the chamber.
The Eclipse Blade was struck directly.
CRACK!
The blade shook violently.
Another beam hit it.
CRACK!
More fractures spread across the black metal.
"STOP!"
Luffy rushed forward.
Kizaru fired another burst of light.
The blade shattered.
Three fragments flew across the chamber.
They struck the floor and released unstable waves of energy.
Thaman stared at the fragments.
"You…"
Kizaru slowly lowered his hand.
"The blade cannot be allowed to remain whole."
Luffy's Gear 5 aura erupted around him.
"Then we'll make another one."
Kizaru smiled.
"Try."
Suddenly, the doors of the chamber exploded inward.
A massive group of enemies stormed into the Admin-Only Zone.
Gojo stepped forward.
"Seriously?"
He cracked his knuckles.
"Can't you guys ever give us five minutes?"
The enemies charged.
Dhruv slammed his fist into the ground.
Quake energy tore through the floor, knocking several enemies backward.
"Get away from the blade!"
Thaman rushed forward.
Flames spiraled around his arms as he struck through the incoming attackers.
Akshith launched himself into the air.
His Dragon Talon attacks struck with explosive speed.
"You're not getting past me!"
Oden drew his swords.
He moved directly toward the enemies protecting Kizaru.
"Stay back."
His blades cut through the attackers' formations, opening a path for the others.
Bartolomeo raised enormous Creation barriers around the Eclipse Blade fragments.
"Nobody touches these!"
Ace and Luffy fought side by side.
Ace's flames combined with Luffy's Gear 5 movements, creating a chaotic storm of fire and rubber.
Law activated his Room.
"Shambles!"
Several enemies suddenly switched positions.
Law followed with precise strikes, dismantling their formation.
Zioles changed forms rapidly.
Light.
Ice.
Fire.
Shadow.
Each transformation gave him another way to attack.
Ripindra floated above the battlefield.
"Time to make this confusing."
Meme-powered illusions appeared everywhere.
Dozens of fake crew members surrounded the enemies.
Nihal transformed into his awakened Buddha form.
Golden energy exploded across the chamber.
He struck the ground with enormous force.
A shockwave sent enemies flying.
Sudheepkar transformed into his T-Rex form.
He charged through the center of the battlefield.
"MOVE!"
Mokshith followed behind him in Mammoth form.
The two created a path through the enemy ranks.
Charvik's nine tails appeared.
Kitsune flames danced through the chamber as his illusions distracted the attackers.
Sriyansh froze the floor beneath several enemies.
Harshil released a concentrated sound wave that shattered their weapons.
Tanush transformed into his East Dragon form.
Lightning gathered around his body.
"Get out of our way!"
Tanish disappeared into darkness.
His Tiger and Dark powers merged around him.
He appeared behind several enemies before they could react.
"Too slow."
The battle spread across the entire chamber.
Then Kizaru raised his hand again.
Light exploded outward.
The crew scattered.
Luffy landed beside Thaman.
"He's serious."
Thaman clenched his fists.
"Then we'll stop him."
Kizaru floated above the battlefield in a beam of light.
"You don't understand."
His voice echoed through the chamber.
"Imu is already too powerful."
Oden looked up.
"And you think helping him will save the world?"
Kizaru's expression remained unreadable.
"I'm not trying to save the world."
He paused.
"I'm trying to survive what comes next."
Luffy launched himself upward.
"Then you're standing in our way!"
Gear 5 energy exploded around him.
Kizaru transformed into light.
The two collided.
Light flashed across the chamber.
Luffy's fist narrowly missed.
Kizaru appeared behind him.
Before he could attack, Law activated his Room.
"Got you."
Kizaru's position shifted.
Ripindra created dozens of false images around him.
"Which one is real?"
Kizaru destroyed several illusions with bursts of light.
But Oden was already waiting.
His swords crossed.
Kizaru blocked the attack.
Thaman appeared from the side.
"Now!"
A massive flame strike forced Kizaru backward.
Dhruv slammed the ground.
Quake energy cracked the stone beneath Kizaru.
Kizaru lost his balance for a moment.
Luffy took the opening.
His Gear 5 fist struck with tremendous force.
Kizaru was sent flying across the chamber.
He crashed through the shattered window.
For a moment, everyone watched him fall toward the dark waters below.
Then he disappeared beneath the waves.
Silence returned.
The crew stood among the ruins of the chamber.
The three Eclipse Blade fragments remained inside Bartolomeo's barrier.
Uzoth slowly approached them.
"The blade is broken."
He looked toward the shattered window.
"But the connection to the Glitch Core has already been weakened."
Law nodded.
"So destroying the blade didn't completely undo what we accomplished."
Zioles examined the fragments.
"Correct."
He paused.
"But reforging them will be harder now."
Luffy looked toward the dark ocean.
"Kizaru…"
Thaman clenched his fists.
"He betrayed us."
Oden looked at the water.
"And he may not be finished."
Nobody answered.
Far below the Admin-Only Zone, the ocean remained completely still.
Then—
A faint golden glow appeared beneath the surface.
One of Kizaru's eyes opened.
He was still alive.
Kizaru slowly looked toward the floating island above.
His expression was no longer calm.
"They still don't understand."
He disappeared into the darkness.
Far away, in the deepest shadows of the broken world, Imu watched everything through a dark mirror.
A small smile appeared on his face.
"Good."
The sky trembled.
The Eclipse Blade was shattered.
Kizaru had revealed his true allegiance.
And the crew had just lost one of their own.
